It reminds us of our obligations to the children of our nation and provides parents and families with a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools to help our children be successful students.

Texas PTA is striving to make a safer environment for our children by passing laws to prohibit cell phones for driving teens and in school zones. As well as programs to help schools reduce diesel emissions for school buses, include school supplies in Texas tax free holiday, prevent cyber bullying, teenage drinking, and much more.
National PTA is a lobbying advocate on such issues as childhood obesity and the initiative to make sure all students are college or career ready at graduation. See PTA.org for further info.
